Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a qualified Mathematics supply teacher to join our roster for Torbay and surrounding areas, starting September 2026. This role offers flexibility to schedule your own days while delivering high-quality education.

Deliver pre-set Maths lessons to KS3/KS4, provide general cover across secondary subjects on short notice, keep a well-managed classroom, and collect work at session end with no marking required.

Qualifications

• Strong, demonstrated knowledge of the Secondary Mathematics curriculum.
• QTS or equivalent required; ECTs welcome to apply.
• Legal right to work in the UK and DBS on Update Service preferred or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set Mathematics lessons effectively across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Provide general cover for various secondary subjects on short-notice or planned bases.
• Maintain a structured, professional classroom in line with school policies.
• Oversee collection of completed work; no marking or long-term tracking required.
