Randstad Education in the Torbay area is seeking a Mathematics Supply Teacher (Flexible/General Cover) to join our supply roster for secondary schools from September 2026. You will manage your own timetable while delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The role offers competitive daily pay (£130–£160, paid weekly), with zero requirement for marking or long-term planning, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (ECTs welcome).
• Strong knowledge of the Secondary Mathematics curriculum.
• Ability to adapt to diverse classroom settings in Torbay and surrounding areas.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Mathematics lessons across KS3/KS4.
• Provide general cover for various secondary subjects on short-notice or planned bases.
• Maintain a structured, professional classroom environment in line with school policies.
• Oversee collection of completed work; no marking or long-term tracking required.
