Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum Healthcare Assistants in Bordon to provide flexible clinical support across local primary care services. Sessions will vary to suit HCAs with strong patient-facing skills and confidence in delivering routine clinical tasks.

You will support different primary care teams by carrying out essential observations, assisting in treatment room duties and contributing to the smooth flow of clinics.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform clinical observations confidently
• Phlebotomy skills desirable
• Good communication and patient interaction skills
• Adaptability across different primary care environments
• Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Performing routine patient observations such as BP, pulse and temperature
• Supporting treatment room procedures under clinical supervision
• Conducting ECGs and basic health checks
• Assisting with phlebotomy if trained
• Providing lifestyle advice and basic patient education
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Supporting clinicians with general duties where needed
