Locum Ready is recruiting a GMC-registered General Practitioner to provide flexible sessions at a Thetford-based GP practice. The role offers a supportive primary care environment with clear daily workflows and strong administrative support.

You will manage a varied caseload, perform patient assessments and ensure continuity of care across sessions, with ongoing bookings and potential long-term arrangements.

Qualifications

• GP must be GMC-registered and on NHS Performers List.
• Experience in UK primary care is required.
• Enhanced DBS and professional indemnity are expected.

Responsibilities

• Run routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Manage acute presentations and complex cases.
• Provide telephone consultations and triage.
• Review investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately.
• Document consultations using the clinical system.
• Support the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
