Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work for a GP practice in Dereham. This locum role offers adhoc or regular weekly sessions with a clear structure for daily clinical work.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality patient assessments and provide continuity within a supportive primary care environment with strong administrative support and established workflows.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Indemnity valid and Enhanced DBS.
• Familiarity with primary care clinical systems (EMIS/SystmOne).

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
