Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work with a GP practice in Hertford. This role suits GPs seeking flexible, well-organised sessions within a supportive primary care environment.

You will deliver high-quality patient assessments, handle a varied caseload, and benefit from strong administrative support and established clinical workflows. Ad-hoc or regular sessions with potential for long-term bookings are available.

Qualifications

• Must be GMC-registered and eligible to practice in the UK.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run routine GP clinics and manage urgent presentations.
• Provide telephone triage and consultations as part of daily workflow.
• Review investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately.
• Document consultations clearly in the clinical system.
• Support the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
