Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered GP to provide flexible sessions at a Bishop's Stortford practice. You will manage a varied caseload, perform high-quality patient assessments, and ensure continuity of care within an established clinical workflow.

The role offers ad-hoc or regular bookings, with full-day or half-day availability and potential for long-term arrangements in a supportive primary care environment.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.
• Valid indemnity.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Manage acute presentations and complex cases.
• Provide telephone consultations and triage.
• Review investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately.
• Document consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Support the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
