Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Ebbw Vale. Flexible ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions, with full-day or half-day availability. You will handle routine and urgent clinics, provide telephone triage, and manage investigations and prescriptions with strong clinical governance.

The practice offers admin support and clear daily workflows. UK primary care experience and NHS Performers List inclusion are required; familiarity with EMIS or SystmOne

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner.
• Active NHS Performers List inclusion.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Familiar with EMIS or SystmOne.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
