Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner for ad-hoc or regular sessions at a GP practice in Weybridge. You will manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality patient assessments and provide continuity where required.

The practice offers strong administrative support, clear clinical workflows and a team‑focused approach. You should be familiar with EMIS or SystmOne, have UK primary care experience, current indemnity and Enhanced DBS, and be comfortable with telephone triage

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
