Locum Ready is seeking General Practitioners to work in Ogmore Vale across flexible sessional arrangements. This opportunity offers autonomy, variety and consistent weekly availability in primary care environments.

As a GMC-registered GP you will deliver urgent access appointments, routine reviews, telephone consultations and triage, with supportive clinical teams and clear workflows to ensure safe working conditions.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP required.
• NHS Performers List inclusion required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community primary care settings.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Valid indemnity.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Managing urgent and routine GP clinics across different primary care settings
• Telephone consultations and triage
• Assessing acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations
• Prescribing within scope and handling medication queries
• Reviewing results, referrals and follow-up actions
• Recording accurate clinical notes in service-specific systems
• Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams
