Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work with a GP practice in Treorchy. This locum role offers ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions with a clear daily structure and supportive primary care.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver patient assessments, provide telephone triage, review investigations and medications, and prescribe safely.

Strong admin support and established workflows help ensure efficient, well-organised session delivery.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner with UK primary care experience.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Familiar with EMIS or SystmOne or similar systems.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries
• Prescribing safely and appropriately
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks
