Locum Ready is seeking a General Practitioner to work with a GP practice in Daventry. The role offers flexible sessions and a clear daily structure within a supportive primary care environment.

You will manage a varied caseload and deliver high-quality patient assessments, with strong admin support and established clinical workflows to ensure efficient session delivery. Ideal candidates are GMC-registered, currently on the NHS Performers List, and have recent UK primary care experience.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner with UK practice familiarity.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Run routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Manage acute presentations and complex cases.
• Provide telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Review investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately.
• Document consultations in the clinical system.
• Support the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
