Job summary

City of Glasgow College invites applications for a Bank Lecturer in Mechanical/Marine Engineering & STEM within the Faculty of Nautical and STEM, to deliver practical and theory-based subjects at SCQF level 5.

The post is fixed term for 12 months; hours as required. A salary of £50,036 per annum pro rata is indicated for those holding TQFE. The college supports blended learning and provides a supportive environment for staff development.

Qualifications

• HNC in Mechanical Engineering or related subject.
• Minimum 3 years industrial experience in mechanical/marine engineering.
• Experience with welding and fabrication is desirable; lathe work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Mechanical/Marine Engineering & STEM practical and theory-based subjects.
• Support students and delivery of SCQF level 5 material with inclusive teaching.
