Job summary

Aurora Foxes in Minehead is seeking flexible education learning support practitioners to assist students across sessions in classrooms, residential houses and the Foxes Hotel. You will support progress, help manage behaviour and contribute to a caring, inclusive environment for young people with learning disabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role desirable but training can be provided for the right candidate
• Experience of working within a hospitality setting, either Front of House or Food Preparation
• Desirable an understanding of working with people with a disability
• Level 2 in English and Maths

Responsibilities

• Assist students during sessions in classrooms, residential houses and Foxes Hotel
• Support students to reach their full potential and progress in each session
• Help manage student behaviour and seek guidance when needed
• Produce resources to support student progress
• Ensure progress is recorded, evidenced and evaluated effectively and efficiently
