Job summary

Nuffield Health Group in the UK is seeking an HSSU Coordinator to support the Hospital Sterile Services Unit. You will coordinate and order all theatre loan instrumentation and equipment, raise POs, and act as the main contact for suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

The role entails supervising day-to-day HSSU activities, maintaining accurate records, and working with clinical teams to have equipment ready for procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience coordinating loan equipment orders.
• Ability to raise and manage POs and liaise with suppliers.
• Proactive in tracking loan instruments and records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and order all theatre loan surgical instrumentation and equipment.
• Raise POs for loan equipment and services.
• Liaise with medical device representatives and suppliers.
• Review theatre booking forms to ensure equipment is ordered in advance.
• Maintain records and monitor receipt/return of loan instruments.
• Support theatre operations through proactive equipment management.
• Work with IT in a computerised HSSU environment.
