Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is recruiting for a Subway Sandwich Artist and Food To Go Assistant at the Winthorpe Avenue SPAR store. The role involves delivering friendly, hands-on service, handling orders, and working as part of a small team with reporting to the Subway Duty Manager.

Candidates should be 18+ with availability across 6.30am–8.30pm, Sunday to Saturday, and a willingness to contribute to a fast-paced convenience store environment. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Flexible to work across early mornings and evenings.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sandwich ingredients and cookies/bread following guidelines.
• Explain menu options accurately to customers.
• Assemble sandwiches to order and restock ingredients.
• Use the till to record orders and process payments.
• Follow Subway, SPAR and company operating procedures and food safety standards.
