Job summary

Af Blakemore & Son Ltd invites applicants for a Subway Sandwich Artist in Grantham. You will warmly greet customers, take orders, and assemble sandwiches to their specifications in a fast-paced SPAR store environment.

Reporting to the Subway Duty Manager, you will maintain hygiene standards, use the till for payments, and help stock ingredients while contributing to a friendly, efficient customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred.
• Some understanding of health and food safety legislative responsibilities in a food environment.
• Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and driving the business at SPAR Grantham forward.
• Keen and enthusiastic approach to working both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and explain options to Subway customers.
• Neatly prepare sandwiches according to customer orders.
• Re-stock sandwich ingredients to ensure sufficient supply during the shift.
• Use the till to record orders, take payments and give correct change.
• Adhere to Subway, SPAR and company operating processes and policies.
• Ensure food handling, safety and sanitation standards are met.
