Job summary

Class Cover Ltd in Esher is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teachers, plan and deliver lessons, and lead classes when needed.

You will help with SEN, mark work, and contribute to a positive learning environment; flexible hours and access to online CPD courses are offered.

No formal qualifications are essential, but A Level 3 qualification is beneficial; prior TA experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• No formal qualification is essential.
• A Level 3 qualification relating to children, education, or childcare would be beneficial, but is not required.
• Candidates with experience as a Teaching Assistant are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with children in an educational setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning and preparation of lessons.
• Deliver tailored learning activities to individuals or small groups.
• Lead whole-class sessions in the absence of the teacher.
• Support students with SEN and manage classroom behavior.
• Mark and assess work, providing progress feedback.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and teachers for student wellbeing and success.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
