Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work with a GP practice in Erith. The role offers ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions, with full-day or half-day availability in a supportive primary care environment.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality patient assessments and provide continuity where required, while benefiting from strong administrative support and established clinical workflows designed for efficient session delivery.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List
• Recent UK primary care experience
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries
• Prescribing safely and appropriately
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks
