Locum Ready is seeking a General Practitioner to provide flexible, well-organised sessions at a GP practice in Houghton Le Spring. You will manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality patient assessments and ensure continuity of care within a supportive primary care environment.

The role emphasises strong clinical decision-making, clear documentation, and a team-focused approach, with ad hoc or regular bookings and potential for long-term arrangements.

Qualificações

• GMC-registered General Practitioner with current UK license.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsabilidades

• Run routine GP clinics and manage urgent presentations.
• Provide telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Review investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribe safely and clearly document consultations.
• Support the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
• Maintain high standards of care within a team-based environment.
