Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum General Practitioner to work with a GP practice in Bingley. This role suits GPs looking for flexible, well-organised sessions within a supportive primary care setting that provides a clear daily clinical workflow.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality patient assessments and provide continuity where required. The practice offers strong admin support and established clinical workflows, fostering a team-focused approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
