Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a General Practice Nurse to support regional primary care services across Attleborough. Flexible sessional work within established GP clinics, ideal for nurses experienced in routine treatment room activity and supporting day-to-day clinical operations.

You will assist local teams with general nursing responsibilities, clinical reviews and patient-facing procedures in well-organised environments.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) with primary care experience.
• Strong treatment room competency.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Providing routine nursing support across GP clinic settings.
• Wound care, dressings and treatment room duties.
• Administering routine immunisations and vaccinations (if trained).
• Completing smear tests if cytology-trained.
• Supporting chronic disease management and care plan activity.
• Undertaking NHS Health Checks where required.
• Documenting clinical information accurately in digital systems.
