Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse for flexible regional primary care clinic sessions across Malton. This role offers structured treatment room and clinical review work within well-supported GP environments, giving you the opportunity to manage routine primary care nursing activity with autonomy and consistency.

You will support local clinical teams with essential nursing duties, chronic disease activity and day-to-day treatment room procedures.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with primary care experience.
• Immunisation and cytology training desirable.
• Strong treatment room competency and ability to work independently in GP settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatment room procedures including wound care and dressings.
• Support chronic disease reviews per local care plans.
• Administer adult and childhood immunisations where trained.
• Perform smear tests when cytology-trained.
• Conduct NHS Health Checks and routine assessments.
• Maintain accurate digital clinical notes.
• Support general nursing duties as required by the clinic.
