Job summary

About Early Years Ltd. in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioners to join us on a supply basis. The role involves delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5, working with a schools team to support learning within the EYFS framework.

You will plan engaging activities, observe progress, maintain records, and uphold safeguarding. Flexible hours and potential permanent opportunities are available; CPD courses are provided to support professional development.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate (ideally).
• Passion for working with young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Previous experience in an early years setting is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for children.
• Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to meet the individual needs of each child.
• Observing and assessing children's progress and maintaining accurate records.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development.
• Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
