Job summary

Academics are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner (Level 2/3) to join our supply team in Stoke-on-Trent. You will deliver high-quality care and early years education to children aged 0-5 across North Staffordshire, working within EYFS guidelines.

Key duties include planning age-appropriate activities, observing and recording progress, maintaining records, and safeguarding. Flexibility to work daily, short or long-term placements with potential permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stimulating environment for children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintain records.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
