Job summary

Academics is seeking Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioners to join our supply team in Stoke-on-Trent. You will work across primary schools, delivering high-quality early years education to children aged 0-5 under the EYFS framework.

The role offers flexible daily, short-term and long-term placements with potential permanent opportunities. Strong communication, teamwork and safeguarding knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate is desirable.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stimulating environment for children aged 0-5.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Observe and assess children's progress and maintain records.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
