Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for daily supply in Barking and surrounding areas. You will support children's learning through play-based activities and work across different nursery settings.

You're expected to have a Level 3 Early Years qualification, EYFS knowledge, and an Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred or willingness to obtain). This role offers flexible, term-time style opportunities with weekly PAYE payroll.

Qualifications

• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Has recent experience working in nursery or early years settings
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Is flexible, reliable, and confident working in new environments
• Has a clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities
• Follow EYFS curriculum and contribute to planning and observations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
• Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
• Promote inclusive practice and support children with additional needs
• Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times
