Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for day-to-day supply across Lechlade and surrounding areas. You will support learning and development for children aged 0-5 within various nursery and school settings, delivering engaging activities under the EYFS framework.

You will observe progress, contribute to learning journals, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to create a safe, inclusive learning environment. Salary is paid weekly via PAYE and rates depend on experience.

Qualifications

• Relevant Early Years qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 in Childcare or Early Years Education).
• Experience in nursery or early years settings.
• Warm, caring and patient approach.
• Strong understanding of EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning and development of children aged 0-5
• Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Promote a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
• Observe and record children’s progress and contribute to learning journals
• Support children with personal care routines and hygiene
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development
• Maintain a clean, organised, and inclusive learning space
