Step Teachers Ltd. is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for day-to-day supply across nurseries and schools in Edgware and surrounding areas.

You will support learning and development of children aged 0–5, assist with planning activities, and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning space. The role requires EYFS knowledge, an Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one), and flexibility to work across multiple settings.

Formación

• Relevant Early Years qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education)
• Experience working with children in nursery or early years settings
• Warm, caring, and patient approach to supporting young children
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and proactive attitude to working across different settings
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsabilidades

• Support the learning and development of children aged 0–5
• Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Promote a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
• Observe and record children’s progress and contribute to learning journals
• Support children with personal care routines and hygiene
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development
• Maintain a clean, organised, and inclusive learning space
