Job summary

Bright Horizons Leatherhead Day Nursery and Preschool in Leatherhead, Surrey, is seeking a flexible Nursery Practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team. You will help deliver the EYFS through engaging activities and support daily routines.

You should hold a full Level 3+ Early Years qualification, have previous childcare experience, and be able to use varied communication methods. DBS checks apply as part of safer recruitment.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities.
• Encourage development towards key milestones as part of a larger team.
• Complete day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation.
