Job summary

Bright Horizons Reigate is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join our Bright Flex/Bank team. You’ll blend agency flexibility with the security of being an employee while supporting colleagues in delivering the EYFS through engaging activities and helping with room preparation and daily tasks.

The ideal candidate has a full Level 3 (or higher) Early Years qualification and experience with children. You’ll work closely with the team to support development, safeguarding, and effective communication

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable

Responsibilities

• Engage children in entertaining and educational activities as part of EYFS delivery
• Encourage development towards key milestones
• Work as part of a team to complete day-to-day tasks including room tidying and preparation
