Job summary

Bright Horizons Leatherhead Day Nursery is seeking a flexible practitioner to join our Bright Flex/Bank team in Leatherhead. You will support EYFS delivery, engage children in educational activities, and help the team with daily tasks while enjoying the security of being an employee.

The role requires Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification, prior childcare experience, and a strong commitment to safeguarding. DBS checks and inclusive hiring are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children - Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities.
• Encourage development towards key milestones.
• Work as part of a larger team to complete daily tasks such as room tidying and preparation.
