Job summary

Bright Horizons Basingstoke Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a flexible Bright Flex/Bank practitioner to support EYFS delivery and engage children in educational activities.

You will work with a team to help children reach milestones, keep rooms tidy, and participate in safeguarding practices; a Level 3+ Early Years qualification and prior nursery experience are required; we also offer DBS checks and strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable

• Support delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities
• Encourage children's development towards key milestones
• Work as part of a team to complete day-to-day tasks including room tidying and preparation
