Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking an Early Years practitioner to support EYFS delivery by engaging children in educational activities and guiding development towards key milestones.

You will work as part of a team, helping with daily tasks like room tidying and preparation, while upholding safeguarding and safer recruitment practices.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience with children in nursery or early years settings.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection best practices.
• Ability to adapt to varying day-to-day tasks and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the EYFS through engaging activities.
• Encourage development towards key milestones with children.
• Contribute to team tasks such as room tidying and preparation.

Job description

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee - giving you the best of both worlds! Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

Qualifications and experience

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children - Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
