Job summary
Central London Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Community Nurse with district nursing leadership to oversee a team delivering high-quality community care. You will drive evidence-based practice, supervise staff, and contribute to audit and service improvement.
The role requires NHS experience, NMC registration, and willingness to undertake further District Nursing training or prescribing qualifications.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current UK NMC registration and district nursing experience.
- Supervisory/assessor qualification or equivalent demonstrated ability to lead.
- Desire to undertake Specialist Nursing Practice in District Nursing or related training.
- Experience with Nurse Prescribing or willingness to undertake training.
Responsibilities
- Provide community nursing services and ensure high-quality patient care in the community.
- Lead and manage a nursing team within a complex environment.
- Drive change management and implement evidence-based practice.
- Teach and mentor junior staff; participate in clinical audits and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with NHS codes of conduct and professional standards.
