Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to join our team. You will deliver letters and parcels in your local community, driving a Royal Mail van and walking parts of your route. The role requires a full UK driving licence, the ability to walk long distances, and working shifts as needed.

The position may lead to permanent opportunities for the right candidate and offers competitive hourly pay with varied shifts to fit your lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and lift mailbags up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you must be flexible to work at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Handle and deliver items in line with Royal Mail standards, including election materials.
