Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to join our team. As a Post Person with Driving, you will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels with a mix of driving and on-foot segments.

You will drive a Royal Mail van on your round, stay active throughout the day, and pass a driving assessment on start. This role offers shift variety and the opportunity to contribute to a trusted national service.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as a Post Person with Driving, serving your community.
• Drive your delivery area and complete parts of the route on foot to ensure on-time delivery.
• Handle election materials and certain items according to Royal Mail standards.
