Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers. You will drive a Royal Mail van on your round and deliver items come rain or shine, with parts of your route completed on foot.

This is a temporary role with potential for permanency. You’ll walk about 20,000 steps daily, handle mailbags up to 16kg, and pass a driving assessment on start. Shifts vary and you’ll be the friendly face in your community.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; candidates must be flexible and team‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your round, with parts of the route completed on foot.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van safely and in line with business standards.
• Be the face of Royal Mail in the community, providing excellent service.
