Job summary

Tesco is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to meet customers at home, delivering great service with a smile. The role is hands-on, physical, and varied, with independence most of the day and support from managers back at base when needed.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores. A minimum of 16 hours per week is guaranteed, with some roles available from 12 hours. Flexibility and reliability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/EU driving licence held for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Able to deliver a high level of customer service with a smile.
• Flexible and able to work shifts, including weekends.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays, and work area clean, tidy and organised to ensure safe delivery of orders.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers in a friendly manner and process refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer time slot and provide warm, natural doorstep service.
