Job summary

Angard Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join the Royal Mail as Post Person with Driving in Greater London. You will drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels across your area, with portions of your route completed on foot.

Applicants must hold a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 points), be fit to walk about 20,000 steps daily, and be flexible to shift changes. A driving assessment will be required on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so you need to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, driving a Royal Mail van and occasionally delivering on foot.
• Security and accuracy in delivering all items on your route, including election materials.
• Pass a driving assessment when you start and work flexible shifts.
