Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in London. You will deliver letters and parcels, split between driving a van and walking parts of your route, while staying active and serving the community.

A full manual UK driving licence, physical fitness to walk long distances, and adaptability to rotating shifts are essential. Roles may become permanent and shifts follow specified pay rates.

Qualifications

• Must have a full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps a day and lift up to 16kg mailbags.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route while representing Royal Mail in the community.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Ensure secure delivery and compliance with Royal Mail standards.
