Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine while getting regular exercise and public interaction.

Shifts vary and you’ll be paid hourly according to the shift, with rates from £13.69 to £16.44 per hour. A full UK driving licence with up to 6 points is required, and you should be prepared for a driving assessment

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk ~20,000 steps per day and carry a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts vary; you must be flexible and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of your round.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and deliver in your local community.
• Provide reliable, friendly service and handle items safely.
