Job summary

Angard Staffing is seeking a Royal Mail Delivery Driver for Sutton in Ashfield Delivery Office. You will drive a Royal Mail van around your delivery area, delivering letters and parcels and occasionally walking parts of the route to complete your rounds.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, fitness to walk long distances and the flexibility to work variable shifts. There is potential for the position to become permanent.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk long distances up to 20,000 steps a day and handle a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; ability to adapt at short notice is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van around your designated area and ensure timely deliveries.
• Deliver letters and parcels in all weather conditions and neighbourhoods.
• Occasionally complete parts of the route on foot and handle election materials as required.
• Maintain high standards of safety and customer service on every shift.
