Job summary

Angard Recruitment is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers for Royal Mail in Ipswich. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van, deliver letters and parcels, and be the face of the service in your community. Shifts vary and you must be able to walk up to 20,000 steps a day, lift up to 16 kg, and pass a driving assessment at start.

Pay rates range from £13.69 to £16.44 per hour depending on shift. This is a meaningful frontline role with competitive pay, offered through Angard Staffing for

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your round, driving a Royal Mail van and serving your community.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and other restricted items in line with business standards.
• Be the face of Royal Mail and provide exceptional service in all weather conditions.
