Job summary

Angard Recruitment assists Royal Mail by recruiting flexible delivery drivers. This role involves delivering letters and parcels across a local area, combining driving a Royal Mail van with on-foot delivery.

You will work flexible shifts, with responsibilities including handling election materials and items in line with Royal Mail standards. The position requires a full UK manual driving licence (no more than 6 points), good physical fitness for daily walking, and adaptability to varying shift

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.
• Drive round your delivery area, completing parts of your route on foot, providing exceptional service.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and items like food or alcohol, per Royal Mail standards.
