Job summary

Mana Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in welcoming secondary schools across Earls Barton and the surrounding areas. This role suits experienced Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants stepping up, graduates considering teaching, or anyone who can lead groups of young people.

This opportunity offers valuable classroom experience, flexible day-to-day, long-term, and full/part-time placements, with pay of £110-£130 per day.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in UK schools or experience working with secondary-aged children.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A calm, confident and professional approach.
• A genuine passion for helping young people succeed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials in the teacher's absence
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and professionally
• Encourage students to remain engaged with their learning
• Work across a variety of subjects and year groups
• Gain valuable experience across a range of local secondary schools
• No planning or marking is normally required, allowing you to focus on supporting pupils and maintaining high classroom standards.
