Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support partnership secondary schools in Worksop from September. If you're reliable, confident, and enjoy helping young people learn, we'd love to hear from you.

Opportunities include day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements with ongoing support from a dedicated consultant. DBS check required or willingness to obtain one; you must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged students in a school, youth work, coaching, tutoring, or similar setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confidence leading groups of students independently.
• Flexibility, reliability, and a professional approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people's education.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during the absence of the class teacher.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain on task.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
• Support students with their learning while maintaining high expectations.
• Report back to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and student behaviour.
