Vision for Education is expanding its network of Cover Supervisors to support welcoming secondary schools in Rotherham and surrounding areas. You will supervise lessons, support students, and help maintain a positive classroom environment.

The role suits graduates and individuals passionate about education, offering flexible working arrangements and opportunities to gain valuable classroom experience across multiple schools.

Qualifications

• Experience in a secondary school, youth setting, or coaching environment.
• Basic understanding of the UK secondary curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidently managing groups of students.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
• Driving licence or reliable transport (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects.
• Maintaining strong classroom behaviour and engagement.
• Supporting students to stay focused and complete set work.
• Assisting pupils with SEN or additional learning needs where required.
• Recording lesson feedback and student progress for teaching staff.
• Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
