Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
• Confident communicating with secondary-age students.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Adaptable, organised and reliable.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS on Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Keep students engaged, focused and on task while maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Support the teacher with classroom routines and behaviour management.
• Adapt to a range of subjects and school settings as needed.
