Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking Cover Supervisors to support learning across Key Stages 3 to 5 in Aylesbury, Milton Keynes and nearby regions. Roles are flexible part-time or full-time with ASAP start, offering competitive pay and ongoing safeguarding training.

You will lead sessions in the absence of the class teacher, deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, and help pupils stay focused while maintaining a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people or in education (desirable, not essential).
• Strong behaviour management and confident communication.
• Adaptability across subjects and age groups.
• QTS or teaching experience beneficial but not required.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to provide two years of references.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom sessions in the absence of the class teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain student focus.
• Create a positive and well-managed learning environment.
• Support pupils with their learning and engage them in tasks.
• Uphold school behaviour policies and expectations.
